Looking for a Great OB/GYN in North East Colorado Springs

I just had my first baby and I agree - Dr. Kort and Trujillo are just awesome - Partners in Women's Health is a great group associated with Mountain View Medical Group. Dr. Trujillo was a personal favorite but Dr. Kort was also just wonderful. I highly recommend them.

This is J., I'm on my fourth pregnancy and I've had all of my babies at the Penrose Birth Center. I love it there especially because they work so closely with Academy Women's Health Care. It's right across the street from the birth center, you have all your appointments there and if you need it the hospital is right at your fingertips. I see Dr. Weary and love him but I know that they've gotten some new doctors since my last pregnancy. They have both women and men, if you have a preference and the environment there is great. I won't go anywhere else.

Part of that reason is the birthing experience at Penrose, you get your own room for every deliver, whereas over at Memorial you deliver in a delivery room and then they wheel you to a shared room. The rooms at Penrose are borderline hotel quality, as close as a regular hospital room is going to get anyway, TV, DVD player, bathtubs, they also have a homey decor.

C., My grandson was delivered by Dr. O Connell here in CO Springs. He does deal in high risk pregnancies. Dr. O Connell did my hysterectomy two years ago and was very professional. My step daughter loved the care that she received with my grandson Xavier. His office is across from Penrose Community Hospital. His phone number is ###-###-####.
If you are not comfortable with a male OB/GYN there are two great female doctors there too.

Hi! Welcome to Colorado. I have two referrals for you:
Blue Skies Center for Women (Dr. Stephanie and Andrew Fowler) ###-###-####. They are on 140 Parkside Dr, so it may be a bit of a drive for you, but they are SO WONDERFUL! I started going to their practice during my 2nd pregnancy and was so happy, they have a very caring touch and were very helpful with my high-risk pregnancy. They were referred to me by my friend who was a neo-natal nurse at one of our local hospitals.

My other reccomendation is Dr Nicole Pinkerton. She used to work with Blue Skies and has moved to another practice. She is also incredibly caring and intelligent. I do not have her current info other than her name. She is worth looking up.
