I am looking for a female peditrician in the Grapevine Colleyville HEB area. Any suggestions?

Also, are you happy with the Nurse Practicitioner as well at the practice. Is the office staff friendly? Are you able to get in easily when your child is sick?

Thanks
J.

Dr Lisa Nash!! She's at the Cook Children's office in Hurst, just off of Precinct Line, south of 183. Every time I've needed to take my son in they've been good about getting us in the same day, if not the next. Dr Nash is great with our son and always very knowledgeable and informative.

I second Dr. Elizabeth Dickey. She is a great doctor and extremely intelligent. I have always felt like my boys are in good hands with her.

I've been taking my kids to Dr. Sandra Arca in Grapevine for 6 1/2 years. She has also has a female office partner, Dr. Harston, and 2-3 NPs. My kids don't get sick often, so sometimes I only go in 2-3 times a year (for well child visits and maybe 1 or 2 sick visits), but they're great about getting you in at the last minute and answering questions over the phone. As a matter of fact, I briefly switched to a different ped when my second son was born (closer to our home), but switched back to Dr. Arca after about 6 months because the new doctor couldn't get us in the day my child was sick, which has never been a problem with Dr. Arca.

I have a few friends who go there as well, and one doesn't like one member of the office staff - the only male, but I don't know his name - but other than that, I haven't heard any complaints about the staff.

My childrens doctor is Dr.Melanie Harston. She is great, as well as her NP. She also shares her office with Dr.Arca.(I prefer Harston) She is very detailed and will spend as much time with you as you want and need. I am one that will ask questions until I understand and she will patiently explain it until you get it. My kids are now teenagers and she talks straight. I LOVE Dr.Harston. They are at Cooks childrens on the other side of Hall Johnson in Grapevine 817=416=6644. Hope this helps.

I love, love, love Dr. Sandra Arca at Cook Children's in Grapevine. The staff is very friendly, I have always been able to get a same day appt. for a sick child (if I call 1st thing), and I also like the NP.

Dr. Elizabeth Dickey is great! She is part of the Clinical Pediatric Associates of North Texas. There are 2 other doctors with her but we have never seen anyone other than Dr. Dickey or her Nurse Practictioner. We love her as well. My favorite thing they do is print this yellow sheet before we leave that tells who brought the kid in and why, what was discussed during the visit and what we should do at home ( ie. fill these presciptions, try cool air or humidifier...) I love that b/c we all forget half of what was said during those visits and get home wondering if we are doing everything for our kids that the doctor mentioned we should try! Office staff is good too and we always get in the day we call for sick visits! The number for appointments is ###-###-####. She is in Grapevine 1/2 the day and Irving the other 1/2 but if she won't be there when you get in then you get to see the NP anyway so you are covered!
