My husband and I live in Godley and we are in the process of adopting a boy (10) and a girl (5). We were both active in church when we were young and would love to find a church iin the Godley or Crowley area that has a great kid and youth program.
Check out Joshua Baptist Church - it is very close to the Crowley/Godley area, we are actually in Crowley and it takes us only 10min to get to church. Anyway, we lke it - come visit!!
I go to Turning Point Church, it's actually Fort Worth right there but it's right next to Crowley and Burleson. It's on I-35 and Garden Acres. It's a wonderful church and the pastor Jeff Wickwire is absolutely awesome. The kids/youth program is great as well. We live in Crowley and are members at Turning Point Church. www.tpcfamily.org is thier website. They are located one exit north of 1187 on the Corner of Garden Acres and I-35. We are a growing church that just moved to that location a year 1/2 ago. They are redoing the entire kids section to look like a castle to accomodate the growth, its supposed to be really awesome. Our pastor is Dr. Jeff WIckwire. He is the best bible teacher there is(if you ask me and just about anyone that knows him). You can listen to him on the radio I think on 91.3 at 6am and 6pm and on the website. But its better to come visit one time in person because our church is full of the holy spirit, and you feel it the minute you walk in the door. You can't experience that over the radio or internet! I would check into the Godley Church of Christ. I know several families with young children that attend there. I know they have a summer Vacation Bible School, so I would think they have other activities/programs year round. I attend Westhill Church of Christ in Cleburne and they have an active youth program for elementary and Jr/Sr High.
