I would be interested in hearing more as I have 2 4 yr old granddaughters. (It would be for Christmas time since their birthdays have passed.) If you get a website or a listing with photos somewhere let me know!

Hi Moms, I am wondering if any of you can help me. My husband and I build wooden play kitchens and we are looking for a boutique or something like that to sell them in, but we have not lived in Austin very long so I don't know what is out there. Do any of you own a shop or boutique or know of one that might carry such an item? Thanks for your help!

start small, put some adds in the paper, make up a flyer with a picture be sure and show the size and see if you can put them in a few resale shops for children's things. You what ever you do, do not want to get 10 orders by the time you got them all done the kids would have out grown them lo. Good luck I think that you may have hit on a good one. Have you thought of something for boys like a small work bench or toy boxs?
There are several specialized boutiques here in SA that might advertise your products and then there is always the online approach. The two that I know the names of here are Baby O Baby and A Tiskit A Taskit- I am not sure of the spelling of the second one. I would love to see some pic of what you build as I am looking to buy for my daughter this Christmas. She loves the little kitchen at the gym where I work and she will be almost 2 when Santa comes this year. My email is ____@____.com luck finding somewhere to carry them. OOh also I bet Mr. Ken who runs Kid to Kid resale shop here is SA might be interested!

Since your kitchens are handcrafted, you could sell them on a website called Etsy.com

I adore this website!! It is very artistic and creative. You set the price, plus shipping. Very simple and customers can pay you via paypal or credit card.
Best wishes!

You should check out the Juniper Tree Store, the school store associated with the Austin Waldorf School. I don't know the number to the store, but you could call the school to get it--###-###-####. Good luck!
I dont live in Austin but you might consider doing the sixth street market days. And other local Market Days. If thats not your thing try searching on the net. Sounds cool keep it up!
I don't know of a place, but reading your note reminded me of the many, many years of joy my sister and I had with our play kitchen. It was a well made home-made one. This would have been in the early 1960's.
I just wanted to thank you for the great wash of memories!
I'd also like to know more about your product... set up a free shutterfly webpage or something like that if you don't have a "real" webpage and share it with us!
