no, it doesnt publish to facebook, I log in the same way and always check. There is a "f" share button on here if you wanted to share it, but otherwise no.
If we login to mamapedia with facebook, does that mean that our facebook friends can read our posts? Because I think I've been inadvertently logging in with facebook, just because of the way the page loads...........and that would be really embarrassing.

i dont think so under your question you see something that says share this with facebook besides go to facebook and see if this question shows up
But oddly, if you ever comment on the blog of the day, it DOES post onto your facebook page. That has happened to me twice, and I have never knowingly linked my accounts!!
.
yes my blog response did show up on facebook and then friends started commenting. I find it more than annoying since my FB friends are generally not that interested in poopy diapers and such, lol! My sister who is very FB savvy changed my privacy settings on FB and unlinked the Mamapedia account. I will also be very careful which blogs I respond to if ever. But these responses to direct questions have not shown up. I also log in with my email account on Mamasource not Mamapedia via FB.
I use FB and it doesn't show up on my account. You just have to change your settings.
No, they don't. It just makes it convenient if you want to share a question with your FB friends. I have several friends who are professionals in one area or another and if I click on the bottom to "share" a question it pops up with the normal post from FB, with the option on the bottom left to share as a message instead. I choose that option usually so I can send it to one friend or another but I have posted an occasional question to my wall to see what all my friends thought.
For them to answer or anything they still have to create a mamapedia account.
If you ever answer a question or ask your own anyone can click on your name and go back and look at your profile and see every answer and question you have ever posted. So, really nothing is private here either.
