We are looking for some local movers to move from McKinney to Prosper. We will be packing all our own stuff, and it will mainly be the big stuff that will be moved. We would appreciate any info you can give for movers of this type.

These guys moved me from Addison to N. Garland and were very nice, quick and economical. You rent the Uhaul and they do all the lifting/carrying.

Well I wish I could give you a good recomendation, but I can tell you you stay clear of A1 movers!!!! They contract their out for workers and we got 2 kids that could barely lift things, were smoking while they were moving our furniture, and I mean at when I noticed it a cigarette was hanging out of his mouth about half an inch from my $3000 leather sofa! Then, since they couldn't get the leather sofa in the door they just left it on the door step! We begged them to try to hoist it up over the balcony and they said they only person in Dallas that knew how to do that was in Brazil!!!! It was awful! The next day we got someone else - who isn't in business anymore or I would recommend them in a second who hoisted our sofa over the balcony with little effort in just minutes. I don't think I've ever been so mad - and nobody at the company was willing to do anything for us - no partial refund - nothing!
