Light Weight Stroller Recommendations

There is a large age gap between my older 2 kids and my 9 month old so I got rid of all previous strollers, not that I liked any of them all that much. My 9 month old is tall so we have to get rid of the nice infant carrier and stroller frame and go for a traditional stroller. I need something that doesn't take up too much space and has handles for a tall person to push comfortably. A nice basket would be nice too, and easy fold. Anyone have a stroller that they really like?

What can I do next?

Maclaren Volo!
Extremely lightweight.
But the basket at the bottom is mesh and not substantial. So if I had to choose between awesome lightweight stroller (and minimal, basic storage) or giant monster and tons of storage, I'd go with Maclaren.

You might be able to find a gently used one on Craigslist. I so miss my Maclaren's! My kids are 12 and 8 now and when I see them for sale at garage sales I have to fight the urge to buy them! They are pricey (and worth it), so at "gently used" it's an amazing bargain.

I love my Maclaren Volo http://www.amazon.com/Maclaren-WRT01033-Volo-Stroller-Bla...
So light, folds up really small, taller handles, & easy to push and turn. Instead of taking the elevator I quick close it up, throw it over my shoulder and take the escalator.

I really like the graco duoglides that have come with the travel systems. I like the parent tray, cup/bottle holder/ and basket. It also closes with one hand. My husband 6'1 hasn't ever complained that it was too low. He did about the umbrella stroller. The only drawback is that the wheels do not go on rough terrain well. Not a jogging stroller at all, but oh so nice at the store.
