I love the PBS kids site, but I think my daughter is outgrowing the games (she is almost 6), is there any site with computer games that are educational that you would recommend? thank you so much

Try manipulatives. I know that's not for the computer, but really and truly, the stores that carry manipulative games are SO helpful to her to train her brain. Puzzles, that kind of thing. Spacial awareness is not taught by using computer games. Spacial awareness needs to be nurtured - building Legos, K'nex, that kind of thing. We all know kids who really excel at that early, and we know kids who don't. The thing is, if we really nurture it in kids who DON'T, we will be giving them SO much by working on it with them early on. It will give them something that will help them the rest of their lives.
Others have given you specific answers to the question you ask - I offer you an alternative to think about.

Once in school, it is a good idea for kids to learn how to type. Because they do not learn that in school.
