We hired a guy to come mow our lawn.. two weeks now he has not shown up, and the first week was to be the first mow of the season. We need someone ASAP and are in SW Fort Worth, near Hulen and W. Risinger (N. Crowley HS area).

Thanks for all the help! I did get someone to come out yesterday (no one recommended here) but I wasn't very impressed and am going to use the recommendations here to shop around a bit.
Lawn drama is so overrated, but if it means we don't have to do it ourselves.... well.. totally worth it.

It looks as though you already have had some helpful tips to your lawn drama. The majority of lawn guys are extremely unreliable. I know that last spring I wen for almost a month before I finally got someone to do it. When ever you are hiring any kind of contractor it is usually best to go the the phone directory because these guys have to commit for a year in order to be in the book. yellowbook.com is always a great way to find what you are looking for too.
The guy I use is called Greene's Lawn Service. I am near the Hulen Mall and he does my yard every other Wednesday. He does my lot which is 1/3 of an acre for $35 (it used to be $30, he just raised it in May). His number is 817.320.LAWN.
