Saturday we caught 7 today we just caught 14. They are crawling on the inside of our picture window in the dining room. Any way to repel them from the house without killing them?

What can I do next?

They are good bugs... also called "beneficial bugs."
They are fine.
Let them be.
Maybe they like that area because it is protected or warm... and dry.
Just catch them if they bother you and release them into the yard somewhere else.

they are not "ladybugs" they are asian ladybugs and they bite and it hurts. once they lay bed in your home plan on seeing them everywhere. even in your bed. I have sprayed with a chemical called Demon WP and I have not had one in my home this fall. they do not like the taste of my home. Yes they are benificial but they are over abundunt and have become a nuisance (sp). they were never supposed to have the effect that they have on their over population. good luck.

ladybugs are wonderful. but the ones who cluster inside your house in autumn are not ladybugs, they just look like them.
try diamotaceous earth sprinkled around any cracks or crevices where they can get in, and a spray of tansy and chrysanthemum 'tea' where they cluster.

I usually get them every year in one bedroom window on the south side of the house which is one of the warmest places in the house. I haven't figured out how to get them out but people say they're good luck.

My parents get them all over their house around harvest time. They live near corn fields. Some websites recommend vacuuming them up and relocating them away from ur house. They are probably Asian beetles. Google it. My parents have used a product called bug slayer available at home depot around the perimeter of their home. Nothing inside because of all the grandbabies. They are a nuisance and hard together rid of.

They love sunshine. I always wait till the sun comes around to that window and then I just open it and the scree and the Ladybugs fly out. Some need a nugde. I found that the best and easiet way to get them out of the house and outside where they can do some good.

They are actually laying eggs in your house.. this happened to me one Sept. Oct... and the next spring.. wow.. baby lady bugs all over my kitchen.. so now as soon as i see them... i just pick them up ... drop them out the window... and clean the area they were because the eggs they lay are so tiny you can't see them. i've never had this problem again.. get rid of them fast.. you don't want tons of baby lady bugs all over that room come the spring..

I would call your local nursery and see if there is a way to attract them. Maybe something that they really like that you can set near your house to "collect" them.
