I sell Thirty One. My one year anniversary with the company is next month. I had held several parties for another consultant before joining. I still held an 'Open House' type party and sold $500 worth of product. My highest month was April, where I had $1700 in sales.
Thirty One is not my full time job, nor do I want it to be. I signed up because I love their products and was actually being asked to help other consultants run parties because I had more of the product than they did and knew more about the products!
The potential to make money is there. There are several on my team (above me) that make $1000+ per month. But they work hard at it. I am not one to recruit or push for parties. If people want to hold a party, great! If not, great!
Like anything else, it requires dedication and hard work to really make money. As I said, I'm not really in it to make a living. I'm in it to make a little extra and to have an excuse to get out of the house.
I will say, the support and encouragement you will get, all the way up to the 'home office' is phenomenal! I've never felt 'on my own' or pressured to sell a set amount. I don't have another direct sales experience to relate to, but that aspect of Thirty One is pretty awesome.
If nothing else, the start up cost is $99, which buys you awesome products that are yours to keep!
I hope that helps and Good luck with whatever you decide!
