A collage picture frame fell off our wall and the glass broke. I went to Michael's to get an estimate on replacing the glass- 20.00 for a 16X16 inch piece of glass! Do you know where I can get glass for less? Thank you.
See if the collage frames at dollar general are the right size. Buy the frame, pull the glass and ditch the frame. They are $5, I have a ton, but do not know why size they are. Its worth looking into.
You might want to check Garden Ridge. I don't know if it's going to be around the same price as Michael's but it's worth a shot.

We had the same issue a few years ago and I'm pretty sure this is the place we ended up using, which if I remember correctly, was significantly less than Michaels.

Go to Home Depot or Lowes. They will cut you a piece of glass to the exact size you want and it is MUCH cheaper! I never buy glass at a hobby store because they always over charge!

Home Depot doesn't cut glass any more, but they do sell it by varying sheet sizes. I think I bought a piece about that size for under $10. You can buy a glass cutter and cut it to size or go to Lowes.
