Friend? If a "friend" did that to me, they would be downgraded to annoying acquaintance instantly. How rude! A real friend would never say anything so insensitive and shallow. It can be very difficult to lose weight after you have a baby, probably more so after having 2! Please don't let her ridiculous comment trouble you. Some people have no social grace and I personally try to stay away from those people as much as I can.

Congratulations on your 2 little 4 month old bundles of joy!

Blessings,
N.

As a mom to 4 year old twins, I can certainly relate to the baby weight issue. My twins, a boy and girl, were also big babies, each weighing over six pounds. Give yourself some time, eat right, rest when you can, exercise when you can, drink plenty of water, and take care of those precious babies. Unlike in Hollywood, the baby weight just doesn't automatically fall off. In the real world without the luxury of full time nannies and personal trainers, it takes time. Just be patient with yourself and don't take to heart the negative comments.

I just wanted to tell you know and understand how you feel. I have not had twins, but after my 3rd baby I have never been the same. I feel so bad about it most of the time. I also have a friend that points things out and makes me feel bad. I have just stayed away for that one. Now I walk at home on the treadmill.
