I know we have some Southern Mom's here. I was wondering if ya'll were okay!!

I heard there were tornadoes were reported in at least six states over the two days - leading to 20 reports of tornadoes.

I here some F2 and F3 tornados touched down in Georgia, Louisana and Alabama. I know in Atlanta one life was taken in the storm. I have friends and family in Georgia and they said for a January storm, it was scary, even though they were F2s...

We got 3" of rain here in DC (I believe, haven't checked that for fact) and STRONG winds...

Since we have to ask a question, were you affected by the storm that kinda took over the Eastern Seaboard?

What can I do next?

Here in MO, this morning on the news they said we (as in the state) had gone 200+ days without a fatality due to tornadoes...until yesterday.

Sorry to jump in, since I wasn't affected by the Eastern Seaboard storms...but we did have warnings and such a few days ago.

I live in Alaska. Alaska sits right on fault lines. Earthquakes are a daily occurrence here. Most are too small to even feel, but occasionally we get big ones. Honestly we are used to them. It's just part of life here. We are also having a very warm winter. Hardly any snowfall. I think strange weather is the new 'normal' for planet earth.

Nasty cold wind here in iowa with flurries. I am so glad we are not getting any more rain! made it slicker then ... outside.

I am hoping for a wet late spring/summer though... We were bone dry last year!
