Hello! There are a few places that cater to kids depending on their ages and have no nudity... I own a travel agency in Cleveland and do a ton of Beaches Resorts. Although they are very pricey their are a couple others. If you would like I can forward them to you tomorrow when I am at the office.

Hi M. P. We went to Sandals "pre-baby" - it wasn't for kids (no nudity) but Beaches resorts are the ones that are kid-friendly I hear. I know there is a Beaches in Jamaica. Hope that helps. A.

You will love Beaches Boscobel in Ocho Rios. Their theme is Sesame Street. They have them walking around in Costumes as the cararcter. They have it set up, where they will come and eat with the kids and they also have a daycare facility for different ages, where they will do all kinds of fun things with your kids while you have some time to yourself. Now, it's a lot for adults to do, because, I did not take my kids, I went for a wedding. Now, I'm planning to take them back. Also, they have children and toddler pools, water slides, XBOX Game room and a whole lot more. I know I'm rambling, but this is the perfect resort for families. I should do a commercial.LOL.

Sandals Resort in Negril is great! We went there on our honeymoon. No nudity. There is also a Beaches Resort in Negril as well. Sandals Resorts are for couples, and Beaches Resorts are for families (same company).

What you need is to find a great travel agent that can cater to your wants and needs. Jamaica is made up of many cultures and religions and is a very unique place.

It's been 10 years since I've been, but there was no nudity at this hotel. We got the all-inclusive package. The staff was wonderful, the food was great, and we just had a terrific time. They have some activities for kids. Would love to go back when we have the money. As for any resort in Jamaica, you take your chances if you leave the resort. As soon as we walked bit too far on the beach, past the resort's ownership, we were approached by islanders selling drugs. There is a nice shopping center w/in walking distance of the beach. We were approached w/ people wanting us to buy their goods, but no drug approaches there b/c it was illegal and enforced.

The "Beaches" resorts are incredible and there is one in Jamaica. We have been to a Sandals resort and were completely spoiled. Sandals is for couples only but their "Beaches" resorts are for families and they totally cater to families. Check out their web sites at www.beaches.com
You would not regret a vacation in one of their resorts.

We took our 2 year old daughter to the Holiday
INNSunspree Resort in Montego Bay. We loved it!! We have been there 3 times, but my husband has been there 8 times with his conservative parents. The pool, activities, beach, and whole resort experience were very family oriented. We were not afraid as long as we stayed in the all inclusive resort. They even have kids program where they take the kids to their own play place for the day. They just renovated it last year- so it should be even nicer. Feel free to email me and ask any questions: ____@____.com plan to return in a year or so with our 2 kids to the same resort.

I don't have an exact answer for you, having never been to Jamaica, but I do have a suggestion for you to check out. Try the website TripAdvisor.com. They have millions of reviews written by people who have stayed at resorts & hotels around the world. There are question & answer lists there, too, so if you don't see an answer to your question, you can always ask. Good Luck!

We went to Jamaica once many years ago and got the obvious impressing we were going to be robbed going to and from the market from our cruise ship. I hope it has changed but I doubt it. We have gone to Grand Caymen several times. They don't put up with crime and we felt safe. It's more expensive to stay but we cut back on dining out and focused on the beach. The boat trip to Sting Ray City was great and so was the turtle farm. The fine gift shops are incredible. People are pleasant and respectful.

You might want to try the Beaches line of resorts. I'm not sure if they have any in Jamaica, but I do know that they cater specifically to families thus I would hope that nudity wouldn't be promoted. Good luck - I've been to Jamaica and it was awesome.

I went to 3 different Sandals resorts and they were always great. As other writes noted, those are for couples only, but the company does own the Beaches resorts for families as well. They have one in Jamaica. It used to be called Boscobel Bay when it was owned by a different resort company; I was there then and it was alot of fun. My sister and her family have gone to it now that it is owned by Beaches...they remodeled it completely...doesn't look anything like it did. They had a nice vacation, but prefer the Beaches in Turks and Caicos, and are planning their third vacation there. Wherever you end up going, have fun!

You can try an online search for "Jamaca family friendly resorts". That should be helpful.

Any Beaches resort will be safe because they are family-only resorts.

Definitely research the "Beaches" resorts. We stayed at a Sandals in Jamaica and loved it. There were not any topless sunbathers and that resort is couples only. Since Sandals and Beaches are affiliated and Beaches is geared towards family, they should be a safe bet. Have fun!
