oh my word...seems like the trolls were out in force last night....I admit I bit...sorry!!

To make this official?? The family and I went out to dinner last night. There was a pet store that had just opened so we went in. My dog is a chewer. So I was looking for a chew toy for him. The sales lady said - this "Bionic chew toy is indestructible" I said - really? my dog has destroyed an Extreme Kong in less than 30 minutes. So I buy it. We get home and give it to him, 10 minutes later - pieces are on the floor....20 minutes later - half of it is destroyed...

Have you ever bought something that said "indestructible" and it wasn't??

What can I do next?

Re trolls - I have decided not to answer anything, including calling them trolls. I report to the moderators immediately rather than give the real trolls what they want (e.g. our outrage and condemnation). If something is real and just worded awkwardly, I let the moderator contact the person, view her other answers/questions, and communicate privately. If it's a real post, then we can answer more charitably. I'm so happy we have a good moderator now - Mike needs us to let him handle things and not take on the administrator's role! So I'm following his request to NOT take on the trolls directly.

And yes, I have a tiny dog with the world's strongest jaws. I ask the vet what I can give her, or I go to a small pet store with staff/owners who actually know something about dogs. The big chain stores often have minimum wage workers they don't bother to train.

Few days ago a kid came on to say she and friends made accounts and were posting questions. Question was removed.

Can't think of anything offhand that was supposed to be indestructible, but I once ordered these expensive sleds for my kids. Paid an arm and a leg.Supposed to be the top slippery sleds out there - guaranteed to have your kids sliding in fun for hours, etc.

Christmas the kids all took them outside on our big hill. And just sat there. Even with us trying to shove them, they didn't move. I actually looked for instructions ..

Yeah our neighbors Chocolate Lab took a little longer to chew through an extra sturdy chew proof frisbee but it didn't take long at all.
She's back to retrieving every tennis ball she can get her mouth on.
It's tough to ignore trolls when you just read something thinking for a second this might be legit but guess I'm going to have to work on responding less and reporting more than I usually do.
Some people really need jobs and/or summer school.

funny you should ask this, our dogs are chewers too. We don't buy them "toys" anymore. We buy antlers and pigs ears.

For the trolls? oh my...

I'm just now looking at this site since yesterday. Boy, someone must have had a sleepover and MP was the source of their "fun".

Pretty sad that they are that bored and lonely.

Chew toys... My new dog goes through (USA) rawhide pretty fast. So far she's not destroyed anything! Knock on wood.

i have one dog that prefers to chew on grass and play with but not chew on a golf ball. he picks it up and flings it then stares at it and barks at it.
the other ones big fun is digging holes. but nither really like to chew on stuff. the hole digger used to chew thru toys but has not done it in a while. she is getting older though so she may have grown out of that stage. (shes a big dog and goingt o be 10 soon. all our other big dogs have passed away before turning 9 so shes the oldest we have ever had)

I saw one Post inin the middle of the night (it seems deleted now). A couple wanted to relinquish their son to the adoption ward in the hospital where he was born. The boy likes to see the the hospital.

I hope it's a troll because they are crappy parents.
