Anyone else make faces with their kid's breakfasts? I do. Intellectually, I think it's kind of creepy. But it's also plain old FUN for some reason.

What can I do next?

I have been known to draw my kids initials and a heart on my kids toaster streudel with icing. I also use the back of a knife to make a little design on breaad before I toast it. I put food color in the pancakes. They think I'm magic. I pretty much am.

I do food coloring in Pancake Batter when I have it.

I call them my ''HIPPIE,HIPPIE SHAKE PANCAKES''.

I let the boys decide what colors they want...and then once I get the batter on the griddle, I do a few drops and swirl it around with a fork.

I posted a few years ago, about making fun creative plate displays for kiddo's.

The one I have always loved was turning a hot-dog into an Octopus. It is SO much fun!! and the kid pretend they are eating a real Octopus:)

I bought one of those Sandwich cookie cutter's. It is a Dinosaur. My kids LOVE that as well.

I am definitely sending my kid to eat breakfast at your house.
Every day.

Oh yeah! Anything to get them to actually eat and get us out the door! Neither one of my kiddos love sausage but they love when I make Mickey Mouse out of the pancake and sausage, so will request it at least once a month!

Food coloring, faces, making things into different shapes, you name it!

Yes! I use the round deli thins and usually spread peanut butter over it, use banana circles for eyes and raisins for the nose and mouth. My son thinks it's so funny.

Not necessarily faces, but animals, or swirlies with pancake batter.
