I 'm wondering if this is normal ? i have been been on this birth control pill beyaz since my son was 8 weeks he will be 10 mth soon. is this normal to take all and my "period" is been wonky as in every mth is different as the lenghth of it goes. it can be anywhere from 4-7 days depending on the mth. i'm not nursing havetn since he was 4 weeks old . i needed to be MSPI diet , and i didnt have a lot of info till later on. i will nurse next time.
i dont know if the pill isnt right for my body i dont have any issues with break through bleeding or anything on the pill . i cant be a tri pill ( like othro tri cyclen ) since my body doesnt toolorate it . so i dont know i need to mention it to them and try something else or go off it completly and use another form.

What can I do next?

For what it's worth. My periods were never consistent as to length when I was on the pill and even when I wasn't on anything. Like yours they lasted 4-7 days. Were heavy one month and light the next. Doctors said it was normal. It has to do with the way your body produces hormones. Many people have irregular periods. I suggest that your hormones have still not settled down since your pregnancy.

But, only your doctor can tell for sure that everything is OK,

Talk to your doctor and keep a menstrual chart to track the bleeding over time--that will help your doctor. I had wacky bleeding after I weaned my second son and switched to a combination pill. Some "cycles" would be six weeks without bleeding, followed by two weeks of heavy, heavy bleeding. I went over two months with no regular bleeding but only bleeding immediately following intercourse. It was crazy. Hormones can mess things up as well as they can fix them, so the only way to straighten it out is to track it and talk to your doctor. That many months on one pill should be enough time to see what it is going to do. If you're still nursing that might affect things, too. If the only thing off is how long your period is, but it is the same time every month, I personally wouldn't worry about it. A 4 day period sounds divine to me. :)

Sounds completely normal to me. But if this is really out of the ordinary for you, call your doctor's office and voice your concerns. It's not worth the stress it's causing you, and a simple call to speak with a nurse will put your mind at ease.

Are you breastfeeding? I never even get a period while nursing, so I can't imagine what a birth control pill would do to me. You may be seriously messing up your body. Also, BCPs can cause miscarriages. One of the ways they work is by aborting a pregnancy. If you are using a low-dose pill, which most people are, that is the primary way it works. Your wonky periods may actually be abortions.
