I'm having to sign in each time I come to mamapedia. It's frustrating to have to go through all those steps each time. I sent them a contact that it was happening but I haven't heard anything yet.
For the last week or so (I can't say exactly when it started...) some questions will redirect to an ad page. At first I thought that maybe I was accidently clicking on the ad before it appeared ( I use an older iPad, and it has started slowing down so so entires it takes a while for the page to fully load...) I started making sure I didn't click on anything after the question was selecting, but it still does it. :/ t is very annoying, because hen I have to click the back button, which takes me to the main question website so. Have to search out the question, then click it again to try to read it. Usually it only does t once, but sometimes it will do it 3-4 times on the same question, or randomly on different questions.
This is very annoying, and I'm curious if it's an issue with my iPad, or with the site... Is anyone else having this issue?

I have adblock installed. A free program that gets rid of all the annoying stuff. Give it a try.
no, i'm glad to say. how very annoying. that would be enough to move me off the site.
from time to time the pages don't load completely. i can read 'em, but when i try to reply or send a flower nothing happens unless i reload, sometimes several times.
when it's one of those days, i devote my 'fritter' time to FB instead of MP.

It's happened to me lots of times & not when I'm on the iPad.
At first, I thought it was me....clicking the wrong thing. Not so.
I feel it's an advertising loop hole of some sort.
I use Firefox with AdBlock, FlashBlock and NoScript add-ons.
I'm not having any issues.
It's happening on my iPad too
If your iPad is getting slower, you could reset it back to factory settings, or remove apps you don't use, or clear cache and history for all the apps you have loaded, etc. The electrons dont start moving slower with age, but they are having to move though more software and app settings. On my daughters old computer even rebooting to factory settings was not enough. She had "clicked away" so many pop ups and some actually installed things on her hard drive that it was easier to save her files on a back up drive (or cloud service) and wipe out the hard drive. That requires reloading the operating system software so not a first step. I am sure someone at the Apple store could help speed up your iPad.
This has not happened to me. I use an android phone.
No. I'm not on an iPad.
