Check www.margaretstrickhouser.com it will update where she is going...but I think it is a hospital near Freedom Parkway intown.
I've heard that both of these women are great midwives who do waterbirths at North Fulton. Margaret is leaving Isis at the end of July, but I don't know where she is going. Does anyone know? Also, I've seen one website that says Kay is practicing at Alpharetta Women's Specialist, but a different website said a different midwife is there. Does anyone know is she is still there? If not, where is she? Anyone else know good midwives who do waterbirths at North Fulton, besides these two highly recommended ladies?
Thanks for your help!

Margaret has her own website - so maybe you can use that to contact her after July. Have you tried contacting her through Isis to see where she may be after that? She does have a great reputation.
I think there are other midwives associated with Isis. A couple of years ago, she was with North Point OB/GYN, serving North Fulton hospital, so you may be able to find someone else there that you like.
If you can't find anyone, find the website for "Labor of Love" childbirth services in Lawrenceville. The founder, Teresa Howard, is a VERY experienced doula who has a lot of contacts throughout Atlanta. She introduced me to Margaret Strickhouser, and I'll bet she could recommend someone to you.

Kay Johnson is still at Alpharetta Women's Specialists. I just called yesterday and made an appointment there for my annual exam, so your request has very funny timing! I can't tell you anything about her from personal experience, since I have never been to see her before. I just moved to Atlanta, and was looking for recommendations for natural childbirth since I plan to get pregnant again in another year or so, and two Bradley instructors in the area recommended her highly. And they recommended Margaret Strickhouser as well, but said that they DID NOT recommend the Isis practice. So it sounds like it's good that she's leaving there.

I'm currently a patient at Isis so I know some of the scoop. Kay left a few months ago and is at Alpharetta Women's Specialists. Isis is no longer supporting midwives (after July 31). Margaret and another midwife from Isis are supposedly headed to Atlanta Medical Center and they are setting to be able to do waterbirth there. I also heard that Kay may eventually head down there too.
