Here are some places we've been. I think they all have birthday party packages to choose from, and most of them seem to run coupons off parties in those coupon books that are around. I've listed them in the order that I'd take a two-year-old:

Jumpers Family Fun Zone in Newtown Square -- loads of bouncy castles. http://www.funatjumpers.com/

I second (or third?) Lynvilla! Also- Oasis Family Fun center is good if you are looking for something inside (might be too hot for Lynvilla these days).

I do not like the Chuck E Cheese thing either - it creeps me but the children love it.

I do know the Lansdowne YMCA rents out their rooms for parties - cheap to members. You could also try Build a Bear Workshop, or the Please Touch Museum.

Linvilla Orchards!! There's animals, hayrides, and a huge playground, picnic area, etc, etc.

Hi, I just had my son's 3rd birthday party @ a place called Moonbounce Adventures. It's and indoor facility located in Boothwyn which is about 15-20 mins from Springfield. All the kids loved it and there's no cleanup for you. Prices are reasonable and you only pay for the kids that actually show up. All you have to bring is the cake. You can check-out the website www.moonbounceadventures.com They have 3 locations but Boothwyn is probably the closest. Hope this helps!

Try to YMCA on South Ave...you can have pool or activity type partieis. I'm sure the Y on Lansdowne ave does the same..the other one is just newer. There is also a jumping place in Broomall but I can't think of their name right now..

The My Gym in Springfield has parties and it's alot of fun there. However, you may need to be a member so you'd have to look into that.

Linvilla Orchards in Media, Fun at Jumpers (moon bounces) in Edgmont, Kettlers Gym in Broomall. Have been to all for parties and all have been fun.

Community Arts center of Wallingford. (Communityartscenter.org)
Hedgerow theatre (hedgerowtheatre.org) Both have parties available one comes with a craft, one with a children's show.
