I'm just looking into all childcare options and wasn't sure how to locate in-home childcare centers to check out. Does anyone know of any, or know a good source to find them? I'm in the N.Dallas/Richardson/Plano area...
The website for Department of Family and Protective Servies is a great place to search for in-home day cares and to view violations. It is a great tool!
The State of Texas has a website, it is The Department of Family and Protective Services. You can look up by zip code and then you can read their profile and see what kind of inspections that they have had. Also, www.pickofnorthtexas.com is an association that has names of people for Allen and Plano area. We also have one provider in Haslet and Dallas area.
