Hi Moms,
I'm having my 3rd baby in March (2nd boy) and would love to hear some cool baby boy names. I had so much trouble naming my 1st son that we ended up naming him after his Daddy! : )
Thank you Moms SO much for all of your unique and different baby boy names.
I think as of right now we're going to go with Jackson James for his name.
We're giving him the middle name James after my Dad's first name.
There's just something about the name Jackson that I love!
I'll let you know if we change our minds.
Thanks again for everything!

I just had my first son in August and his name is Collin, however the poor little guy didn't have a name for the first few days. I had a list of names and here are some of the top contenders Beckett, Luke, Jake, and Jack.
I hope they at least spark some ideas.
Congrats!!!

Though these are good names, I know too many of them. There were even 3 on the same block for awhile! So I say do not choose these...
Ian
Blaze
Connor
I like Trevor.

name him after you. Nathan. :) Call him Nate. With a name like Nathan, basically any middle will go. Get creative like Nathan Tucker or stay simple like Nathan James.
It also depends on your last name. If your last name is long, I'd stay with a one syllabal middle. If your last name is short, you can do a long middle. I wouldn't do too creative or hard to spell first name or he'll have a heck of a time correcting people all his life. I also love the names Brock and Sterling. Jonas,Alexis, and Luke are nice too. And I know it sounds boring but I have always loved the name Sam for a boy. Its SO cute as a little boy yet mature and all american as a grown up. Same with Charlie. Baby naming is fun. I'm currently going through the same with my little girl who is due in Jan. Have fun!! :)

There is a book called "The Baby Name Wizard" that is awesome. You can look up the names of the children you have and it will give you ideas for sister and brother names. It also tells you a little about the names, their popularity, meaning, etc.
It manages to be right on the mark most of the time.
Just pick a name you can see yourself saying one million times a day for 18 years. :)

My husband wanted to name our son Gunnar. It was a little too unusual for me though, so we ended up naming him Owen - which has proven to be pretty unique. I recently met a couple with a son named Armani and I just loved it, thought it was a really great unusual name.

Everyone thought we should name our little boy after his daddy, but my son from a previous marriage already had "Chris" for a daddy (his stepdad), aunt (my brother's wife), and a half-brother by his father. Our 2nd choice was to name him for someone else in his daddy's family, but there were already too many Carl's (daddy's brother and uncle, not to mention several friends of the family), and my son's cousin was already named for Grandpa (first, middle, and last). We looked to the Bible, and ended up naming our son Noah Jacob.
You might want to look back several generations in your and your husband's families to see if there is a name you like that has not been used in a while. I also have a few friends whose mom just "made up" some really creative and neat names!
You didn't say how old your other children are, but they might be able to help you name the baby, too. (One of my brothers liked the name Peter, and was quite upset that I was a girl, so he couldn't name me that!)
Congratulations on your new baby, but don't "stress out" over his name, yet...You'll think of something that will "fit" him!

My boy names that I loved but didn't get to use were Landon (with possible middle name of Michael or James) Drew, and Christian. We did however use Cameron Allen and Ryan Andrew. Good luck! Sometimes it takes seeing them when they get here to name them, it did for me both times!

With our son, my husband insisted on Gabriel Ian. I liked Ian for a first name, too, but Gabriel won out. He likes biblical names.
I also like Owen and Brookes.
Look at you and your husband's heritages. It's fun to try to come up with something that makes a statement about your children's ancestry.

Good luck! It is so hard to find the perfect name. My husband and I couldn't agree on our son's name and we ended up flipping a coin an hour before he was born. I won!
the above website is for the top 100 baby names of 2006. When we named my daughter I wouldn't consider anything that was in the top 20. Too common. Maybe this list will help you out. Good luck.

I had to drop you a note since both of my twin boys' names were mentioned by other moms. One of my guys is Tanner Bryce and the other is Trevor Gage. Both boys are called by their middle names. I've never regretted either of these choices, like one mama said, they are easy to yell one million times a day, and being two, I'm not joking when I say I do! LOL Best Wishes!

Last year when we had our 1st boy we named him Colby Tanner. We actually played around with the idea of his first name being Tanner but we had a hard time coming up with a middle name to go with it. I'm expecting our 3rd little girl in about 8 weeks and if she had been a boy we were going to use the name Devon. Some others I've heard that I liked were Mason, Gavin, Aiden (but it seems to be super popular), & Hayden. Have fun, I have loved playing the name game with all of ours.

I love, love, love the name Gage. I wanted to use it so bad and I think I was more sad about not using the name than actually not having a little boy! We are not having any more kiddos, but I still think it is such a cool name! I like different though - I have 2 girls named Presli Brooke and Dyllan Paige.

We are an irish family so we named our little angels Liam Rourke (he goes by Rourke) and Declan Conway. I also like Cade or Caden, but my husband wanted Conway. My nephew's name is Kelton Reed. Have fun with it! This was one of my favorite parts of getting ready for baby!

Honestly, I'm not into trendy names, but I named my son Ivan. I like that it's an old name and a strong-sounding name, too. There probably won't be 5 Ivans in his kindergarten class, etc. ; )
Just wanted to share that.

I had the reverse I had trouble naming her since I had thought I only wanted boys (glad that I have her). I like you wanted something different without being weird.
