I'd also recommend the Women's Resource Center. They have personal counselors, mentors and workshops.
Does anyone have any experience, advice or direction they can offer me? I've never done this before and am starting to feel a little, a lot actually, overwhelmed!!
Thanks so much!!

There is an agency in Phoenix that can walk you through the process and just about guarantee your companies success. They teach you how to write the business plan, offer courses on basic business strategies and help you to get the business loans.

Hello R.,
Best wishes on a successful new business endeavor. You might want to look into www.phoenixchamber.com. I believe they offer a program that allows successful business women to mentor women starting out in their own business.
Enjoy your day,

These suggestions are right on target! Do you have a business plan? You will need one to apply for any loans. Let me know if you need help making one, as I write business plans! As a fellow mom, we'll work out the costs later. Let's just get it done!
I would start by going to a couple of websites. www.asba.com is a great company that can answer many of your questions. Call them if need be. Their number is on the website. www.score.org is also another site to get information from. SCORE "Counselors to America's Small Business" is America's premier source of free and confidential small business advice for entrepreneurs.
