Me and my boyfrined are thinking Edward James for a boy, but if it's a girl, we want Arianna, but can't come up with a middle name. Right now we're thinking about Nicole, Renee, and Leigh. The last name is Labore. I appreciate all answers!
We have decided on Arianna Nicole LaBore. And we're almost positive it's a girl, which is a relief to my whole family, because we have SO many boys, =]

I like unusual names or family names. For a girl, I've always been partial to Mae (though if you prefer a more traditional spelling, May works as well). My oldest son was named Julian because I wanted something a little different (but not so different he would be teased) and my youngest son's middle name is the same as his grandfather's middle name, Edward.

I work at a Head Start program and I just saw a cute name on an application - Neela.
How about Skye or Keely?
Arianna Mae Labore kind of flows nicely.
I agonized over my youngest child's middle name. I finally went with my grandma's maiden last name - St. Martin. My daughter has my grandma's first name, and my other son has my grandpa's name as his middle name, so I thought this would be a good way to incorporate them into the name of my last child as well. Asher St. Martin are his first and middle names.
So perhaps you could find a way to honor someone you love very much by using a name of theirs.

With a 4-syllable first name. I would try for a middle name with just one syllable, like Leigh. Or Ann. But it's entirely up to you. Maybe something with some meaning, like a grandmother's name or something. Have fun!

All of those are nice names... middle names are great for using a namesake- a grandmother or special aunt perhaps? Just make sure it works well for when you are disciplining them, since we all tend to call them by both names at that time!

I agree with the posts recommending a short middle name (if you need one), as first and last names are long. So Leigh would be my vote.
I've always liked using family names. My daughter (Rebecca) is named after her great-grandmother (my mom's mom), and her middle name (James) is my husband's name. My cousin used a grandmother's maiden name as their daughter's middle name (Avery Thorpe...). Good luck!

I like Leigh the best since it only has one syllable - middle name with one since first name has 3 and last has 2. Congratulations and best wishes for a healthy baby!

Arianna Labore [which sounds great, by the way!] is already 6 syllables so it's good to have a short middle name. I like Leigh because it rolls of the tongue well, and having the "E" sound, and the two "L's"...Leigh Labore sounds very nice. That would be a great name by itself.
I think Arianna Ashley Labore also sounds good for the same reason Leigh does
I don't know if this helps you or not, but the first name that popped into my head was Smith. It's a strange middle name on it's own but I like the ways is sounds with Arianna.

I really like Nicole. We went with that with our youngest (Annabeth Nicole) as that was the one that sounded the best.....People would joke and say, well try yelling the first and middle name like they are in trouble....lol
I like Nicole best, but with so many syllables, why have a middle name at all? I think they are over-rated. Unless you are using a middle name to honor a friend of relative, I don't think they are necessary.

We have the same problem finding a middle name--the nursing students who were at the hosp. helped us =)

I don't like Nicole because the initials ANL make me think you are only missing one more letter and then you have a very good way for kids to tease. Leigh and Labore are too much alike, so I think Arianna Renee Labore sounds very nice and the initials ARL don't bring up any easy teasing things I can think of.

I went with my maiden name for my daughters middle name. If your baby will already carry "your" last name, choose our mom's maiden name. It doesn't sound as smooth as most people expect, but it is ME, and who I was before I was married. It is my way of carring on my maiden name. AND I was the one that gave birth, I gave my husband NO choise in her middle name. (He picked our sons middle name.)
