Ladies, My hubs and I will be celebrating our 10 year anniversay next month. We are going out to dinner with friends, but as money is tight we decided to forgo gifts and go to dinner. But...... I wanna do something special for the hubs, that obviously dosen't cost too much. My sis will have my son so the house is ours for the night. What can I do romantic for him, I want to write him a letter about how much I appreciate him, especially now that he went back to work when I lost my job, I just want to basically end the night with something unexpected. Without TMI ofcourse we will be having a very intimate time just want to know what you would add or what you have done make your anniversary special. Thanks

What can I do next?

For VDay one year I left a trail of candles with notes left at each candle. I put little phrases on the notes about how I felt about him and what I appreciated. The last candle and note was outside of our bedroom door and I wrote an intimate note about our connection. I was waiting on the other side of the door. :)

I did this for my husband on our first( in June), because there was no way I could steal him a new F-250, as a stay at home mom. I do this for a lot of occasions, too for family. I take a picture frame-mine was just from an ugly framed picture in the garage, and wrote how much I loved him, etc. Then, I took some pressed flowers(another little hobby of mine), arranged it around the text portion that I wrote and framed it. He hung it somewhere he could see it everyday as he was leaving for work, and it actually looked really nice, I used the nice font on the computer. Just an idea!

Candlelight, soft music, good food and sexy lingerie and some champagne. Maybe some rose petals on the bed or a bubble bath for two where you can give him a massage while you're in there with him and whatever else helps him relax :)

After you get home from dinner, don't tell him what your doing but go to your room before him and put on some lacy, form fitting lingerie and some stilettos. Then wait for him to walk in, I'm sure he'll be pleasantly surprised! My husband always is. You can even say you feel kinda tired and pretend your getting pj's on and then call him in.

How about turning your letter into a scavenger hunt that ends with you scantily clad in bed? Share a shower or bath? Massage? A special movie?

Good luck!

One anniversary my husband wrote a story on a piece of paper and cut them up in phrases. Then like a mystery each paper led to the other piece giving hints on what to expect making it interesting. When I solved the final piece of the story, I was "well let's say very surprised!...hope you have some fun. I get to celebrate mine this month...

I think the most meaningful gifts come from the heart. Here are some suggestions for you----

Write your hubby a love letter--100 things you love about him-in detail (they love that)

Write him a steamy note about what you are going to do to him, with him etc.---if you don't normally do this or talk this way, he will be blown away at your boldness.

Cook him his favorite dinner and desert and feed it to him. Dressed in lingerie or a sexy outfit. He will love it.

Hope this helps--- happy anniversary!

Molly
