I Need a Bull-dog Attorney

I have been in the court system for 4 1/2 years so far. My ex husband was abusive and took all our money and left me and our two small kids without a dime. He was left at the divorce with supervised visits. He let the case rest for 4 months and then started back up again January of 2009 and we have been going ever since. He now has not had to get any help for his violence or being diagnosed as a spociopath and is coming out on top and might get custody of the kids. Him and his attorney have gone in and told so many lies to distroy my character. Now, I have evidence to prove he has lied and my attorney that I have now will not go in and show the evidence. she is very lazy and not wanting to do anything for this case. I can't lose my kids. I have taken care of them since birth by myself and have always provided. I need an attorney that will go after this guy, prove his lies and get him to have to pay attorney fees for the lies and stunts he has pulled. Please. Anyone know of a great, bull-dog type attorney?

What can I do next?

My husband's ex-hired him and he gave us a run for our money. We in the end had to end up forking out a lot of money and also had to pay her attorney fees. Good Luck

Ask people around you. They should know who is good in this arena. Google attorney's names and see what you find on them. you can do a case search on google for your state, research the attorney there and see if they have won or lost most of their cases. A lot of times you can get a free first session with a lawyer, and then you can judge from there. I definitely am praying for you!

sounds like your ex has the attorney you want. the more you pay the more they will react for you and the harder they will be...the good attorney's go where the money is regardless wrong or right (most of the time). they are in it to make a living too, and like you, the more they get paid the harder they will work for you, just like you would. have you looked to see if you qualify for legal aid?

i understand your position honey, my ex husband of 7 years hasn't EVER paid a dime in child support and until last year, got her 5050 visitation, owes me over 3000 in medical expenses, and i know he expect he's going to claim her this year....wrong o, fixing to get my modification papers and going to have an immediate hearing for taxes, and child support..the rest will go into the LOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNGGGGG drawn out hurry up and wait game

I do not know of any attorneys, but I hope you find a good one. Can you ask parents of families at your kids school for advice or referrals?

K.,

I have to strongly recommend Michelle Cheney. Not sure where you live. She's in Crandall, but most definitely worth it. She handled my divorce two years ago, and for the 1st time, my ex finally got put in his place! :o) My ex was abusive also.

She's very fair, reasonably priced and will work hard for you. I honestly can't say enough about her. Below is her website. Give her a call and tell her Amy referred you.

I hope the best for you and keep your head high! Putting it all in God's hands was what worked for me.

Go to the closest law school. They often have programs that provide legal help for a low cost. Additionally, they should be able to point you to a good attorney if they can not provide their services to you.
