Good luck with the search!
Hello ladies.
I am in a sticky situation and could use all of your help on this. I have a daughter who will be 4 in a few days. She is extremely bright for her age in many ways. She is doing great at writing, and can write the whole alphabet and spell a few words. Her name is her favorite thing to write obviously. With this being said her school is VERY important to me. I work full time and do not have the time or energy to teach her the things I want her to know.
When I first moved to this area I put her in WALNUT CREEK PRIVATE SCHOOL in Mansfield. I have never been so pleased with a school, Haylee quickly excelled and fell in love with every aspect of the school, as did I. However, because of personnal issues we had to move into South Arlington and I was unable to make the drive. I reluctantly pulled Haylee out of Walnut Creek, because I felt confident that I had found a new school that would be just as good.
In February I put Haylee in HIGH POINT CHILDREN'S ACADEMY in Arlington Highlands. To sum the experience up, it has been terrible, almost terrifying. Her teacher is rude and has terrible hygeine habits, on some of their daily art projects (which there are very few of I might add) the teacher spells simple words wrong. Now I do understand that my child is only 3, but I want someone that is somewhat educated teaching her. Her behavior has gone from angel child to demon in these few months. Where we used to talk about school and how much she liked it she completely shuts down when I try to talk to her about it now.
I have got to find a program to put her in that will benefit her!!!!! I need a private (or if not private then highly accredited) school for ages 3 and up. I would prefer for the program to have atleast a preschool and even better would be a program for the lower elementary years. I am paying about 140 a week, and can handle ten or so more a week if need be. Also, I need South Arlington, I live off of Pioneer Parkway and work in Grand Prairie, so the Cooper, Collins and Fielder areas of Arlington are ideal.
Please help ladies......i dont' know how much more of this school I can take!!!!!

I am not sure what hours you are looking for but the preschool up to Kindergarten program at my church is wonderful. The church is Mayfield Road Baptist Church and their program is called ____@____.com the church for info and the number directly to the school. ###-###-####. Good luck.
I don't have any referrals for you, but I just wanted to say I hope things get better for your little one! I am an educator and it made me so sad to hear that you and your daughter are having such a hard time with your provider. I wish you the best of luck with your search! ~L.
K. - we went to Primer School on Orange Street and Division for two years and LOVED it! They are on the same schedule as the school system so I don't know if that will work for you or not, but the teachers are educated, caring and absolutely wonderful with kids.
PM me if you need the contact info.
