Lol I used to give my kids 25 cents. Granted, that was 20 years ago, but my kids have never let me forget what a cheapskate the Easter B. was.
Our son has two loose teeth. Just wondering how much the tooth fairy or what the tooth fairy gives in your neck of the woods. Growing up I remember getting 50c pieces and thinking they were special. Thanks for your advice.

First tooth was a "fairy dust" aka glitter paint covered $10 bill. Every one after that was a glittery $1 bill, doubled for a tooth the dentist had to pull.
For the FIRST lost tooth the toothfairy gives $5.
For every tooth after that she gives $1.
Unless she forgets....which she seems to do a lot lately, and then it's $1 a day!!
We give dollar coins.
Nothing special here. Just $2.00.
We had four silver dollars in our supply. They got one a tooth and when they spent it will pulled it back in our supply and we gave the cashier a paper dollar.
Our daughter just hit the grand finale. She lost her last two teeth. $20.
We have given 4 gold dollar coins. The amount might go up as he ages.
Well, our kids' kindergarten teacher who claimed to be the Tooth Fairy would insist on telling them that they get $10 for the first one and $1 for each subsequent one. So we kind of had to go with that because she already set up the expectation. She is a wonderful teacher, however this was one of the few less wonderful things she did. Personally, I think that is excessive--we are talking about teeth coming out, not an active accomplishment of the kid. I remember getting 25 cents and that was pretty exciting. You could go with $1 for the first one and a 50 cent piece or 25 cents for each afterwards?
We did 20 quarters except for the last tooth and that was 100 quarters.
It wasn't a lot of money but all the coins seemed like treasure and our son loved feeding all the coins into his piggy bank.
We do a dollar. One of our family friends gave Kiddo a tooth box from France-- sadly, it's made to hold francs, so we fold up a dollar bill, press it like a vise grip and cram that money in there!
$5 if it fell out, $10 if the dentist had to pull it.
Golden Dollars. Which I strongly suspect she gets as change from the Metro. Hint.
We do $1 for regular teeth and $5 for molars. The problem with the tooth fairy, I have found, is your kids hear about their friend's tooth fairy who gives $10 or $20. Come on! What are those other parents thinking?!! It drives me crazy.
$1/tooth and a trail of coins from bed to window/door or where ever your tooth fairy enters.
$5 for the first tooth and $1 for all the rest. Probably will do another $5 for the last tooth.
I know a lot who do $1 per tooth, but also know people doing $5 and even $20 each.
My son just got $2 for his first tooth. With my daughter it varied. The one she swallowed brought in $5. I was not the tooth fairy with that one! Our tooth fairy also leaves a note with some little anecdote about how old they were and how it was lost. One of my daughter's teeth fell out when she was eating M&Ms and the note came with a warning about the dangers of M&Ms. My kids have loved those notes. Several of them are still displayed on their bedroom walls.
$5 is the norm out here in Northern CA.
We give a $2 bill for the first tooth, then $1. My kids have friends who get $5 and even $10.
$1, and to make the first one special, it was a gold $1 coin.
Our tooth fairy brings "fairy gold" in the form of gold dollars. 1 for each tooth.
my girls got a special type of coin for their first tooth - a gold dollar, a two dollar bill, a silver dollar, etc - it was what we had around and honestly it was 8 yrs ago for the older one and 7 yrs ago for the younger one. Each tooth after that was a buck, except the one time my older daughter had a tooth that was loose for 6 months, she got a dollar per month for that one cause it was seriously a painful irritating thing for those months, lol.
A buck. It's not a big deal.
I did $2 for the little teeth and $5 for the molars.
My son gets $1 per tooth and we use those gold dollar coins, which are less common so they seem more special.
ooh wow...it's been a while since we did this!! Like 5 years....I believe...
BIG teeth? $5.00 (front teeth)
Little teeth? $1.00
I usually got a quarter to 1 dollar depending on the Tooth Fairy's budget when I was a kid!! LOL!!! And the $1?? that was for my two front teeth!!
About $2 I think and then $5 if they had it pulled.
