Latex pait should come off with no problems with Krud Kutter found at Home Depot in the paint remover section. It is the best stuff and you will use it all over the house. www.krudkutter.com
My husband has a nomax fabric jacket that he got from my father's Vietnam days. He loves the jacket wants to keep it forever but about 10 years ago he painted in it and has paint splats on it. He told me today he wished he hadn't done that and started working with a razor to slowly scrape the paint spots off. Does anyone know how to get this paint off? I thought about paint thinner but wondered if it might eat a hole thru the fabric. He isn't concerned about the jacket retaining the fire resistance. Thank you for your suggestions!

I am not sure they will work with dried on paint, but I am an artist and they work for me. Painters wipes found at Lowes in the house paint section.

Dear T.:
Try Goo Gone. I hope it works!

Hi T.:
There is an all natural product that I use through Melaleuca and it gets paint off of clothing. It is awesome. I am not sure of this material, but it is certainly worth a try.
Call me if you are interested

FYI - its Nomex, same stuff fire gear is made of. We used to have to send our gear out if it got anything on it. Try the DuPont website - they manufacture the stuff. you may have to email them. Good luck!!
Goo Off 2 comes in an orange spray bottle. You can get it at Lowes or HomeDepot I've used if on smaller paint splatters it may take a couple of tries and some scrubbing, and after that I use dish detergent to try to remove any oil residue. If that doesn't work you might try GooBeGone I think it might be a little more concentrated.
Good luck!
I just had a painter tell me that Denatured Alcohol (you can get it at Lowes or Home Depot) is a good way to get paint out. It's a much gentler fluid than Paint Thinner. It may take a little elbow grease but I don't think it will mar the fabric.
