Where are you located?

I don't use in home childcare because my husband prefers childcare centers. He is a little fearful of the fact of the kids behind closed doors with only one person watching over the children. He feels safer when the kids are at a center becuase there are multiple providers there to watch over the children and keep an eye on one another. Also, he nor I, would ever send our kids to daycare that isn't registered with the state. I know of some in home daycares that aren't and should be.

This is the state's website and it will give you info on being registered. I have to tell you that I have been in business for over 16 years and it hasn't been easy lately getting calls. I think alot of people are working split shifts so they can avoid paying daycare, or are having family keep their children.

I am a member of an assoc. called Tarrant County Professional Home Daycare Assoc. Our number is ###-###-####. If you would like to call and leave a message, we can get back to you on any info you might like. We give referrals out for daycare so anyone who is a member of our assoc. will get referrals from the calls we get. You must be registered with the state in order to become a member of our assoc.

Try not to get too discouraged, but I have to say that for a while now, it has been harder to get kids.
