I have a lot of plastic bags and large shopping bags that I reuse for tons of things. Now I have them all stuffed in a small foldable hamper. Any suggestions how I can organize them better? As u can see I'm an organizer freak...

What can I do next?

Thanks for these wonderful tips! I really should recycle some of them, I doubt I need that many. ;-D Again thanks, moms. Don't know what I'd do without mamasource!

Fold them into thirds, roll them up into a little ball and put them into used baby wipe containers or kleenex boxes.

I use the round plastic ice cream tubs with lids. Cut a hole in the lid, keep it on the tub and it is easy to add bags or pull bags out as needed. You can even stack and store them if you use different ones for the various sizes of bags your saving. You'll be surprised how many you can stuff in there and the lid will keep them from popping out all over.

Good Morning ELisabeth -

Yes, many of us are!! Drives my older children nuts - but I 'refold' them - as they came from the store then fold them down in thirds and little squares. Makes storing them neater and much more room. Ask at your local library, school teachers, daycares and churches if they need them....<esp. for sales/bake sales/book fairs etc>. I find them asking ME if I have any available as they know they come neat and clean and all tidy!!

I keep a small garbage can under my sink behind my normal garbage can. I stuff them in there. when its full I take it recycle. Easy and out of the way.
