After I had my daughter, my face was a mess and it didn't matter whether or not I was breast feeding. I tried Proactiv and it cleared up my blemishes but did nothing for the little white bumps that were on my forehead and cheeks. After a visit to the dermotologist and a biopsy on one of the bumps, he concluded it was an overactive skin growth caused most likely by hormones. I have not gotten any new bumps since the 1st year after she was born, but the bumps have never gone away. The advice I was given was to "gentle cleanse and exfoilate so the pores would not block up".
