I'm trying to find other mom's or dad's that would be willing to meet me and my son for a play date. I have him on the weekends and sometimes I think he gets bored of doing the same old thing. He is not in daycare and I would love for him to interact with other children his age. I live in Uptown right across the street from a beautiful park. The park is full of playground equipment and we usually spend most of our time there.
E. (and Jasmine)--I belong to a couple of stay-at-home mom groups, and am so glad that I did! They are through meetup.com. There might even be stay-at-home dad groups on there too here in the Twin Cities. I'd check them out...

I am also trying to set up playdates for our son who is 20 mos old. I also have two older children who are almost 8 and 9. I am new to the cities, so I am unsure where you are talking about, but I live on the eastside of st paul. (kinda close to white bear) Let me know if you set up anything.

Hi E., every tuesday starting sept. 19th at Painters Park on 34th and Lyndale, there is Toddler Time in the Rec. Center. It's free, and is opened from 10:00-12:00pm. I've been going there for the past year and the parents and children are so great. Join us. If it's nice we'll be outside.
