Mine weren't tender as much as they felt really heavy. Like it didn't completely wear off immediately. It took about 4 days.
Anyone who got the epidural...did parts of your leg feel tender to the touch weeks after??

Call the doctor or anesthesiologist and tell them what is going on. Do you have a fever? Is the area red and swollen or just tender to the touch?
Since I'm not a doctor, I'm not going to tell you what it is. I will tell you what it MIGHT be. It COULD be a blood clot. It COULD be an area specific allergic reaction. It COULD be an infection. Since I'm not a doctor and I have not examined you - I would not be able to tell you WHAT it is.
If you use webmd or google side effects of epidural? You might scare the living bejesus out of yourself. Just call your doctor and tell him/her what is going on. It will save you a LOT of stress.
Good luck!
It may not have anything to do with the epidural. I'd get back to the doctor and get this checked. You might have a blood clot and that is a potential life-threatening issue. Don't delay - get to the doctor and have this checked. An ultrasound would rule it out.
Nope, not me. Google side effects and see if that's one of them.
I could not feel my right leg for 2 days, but it was never tender to the touch.
no.. get that checked out
I never had that happen to me.
Sorry about your discomfort, ugh. Mine were heavy and numb for a day or two, but no lingering tenderness. (And both times I had two epidurals, they had trouble finding the right location.) Call the doctor. Wishing you well.
No but I had an iv about 8 or 10 yrs ago and my hand is still weirdly irritated when you even lightly touch it. Nerve damage.
Not my leg, but the lowest part of my back and my right butt cheek did.. It did eventually go away
