Help with Playtime Outside

A couple thoughts... My neighbors park their car sideways in their driveway in front so the kids won't roll out into the street on their little cars, etc.
Another neighbor puts a Sign out front that says Child at play, it is on a workhorse stand, she bought it somewhere... and sets it in the street out front of her house.
If you can't put a little fence in your front yard, could you get some chicken wire to post out front when you are out with him?
As for concrete.... you could get him some knee pads ( lol ) or maybe go get some cheap carpet to lay out there for him to play on?

i have the same problem with my 17 month old. we do have a sandbox, swing and horse shoes that she plays with but with out a fence its hard to keep her focused on thoes things. We have put her play kitchen out there wich keeps her busy for a few min. Try taking some toys out. And remember we are out there to battling the same things. As soon as breakfast is done she wants to "go, go, go" I never thought I would wished she would watch t.v. hahaha

How about getting a plastic pool and put some sand and toys in it? When the weather gets warm, you can bag up the sand and fill it with water. Hope this helps, S.

Take him to a park !! once or twice a week - he'll love it and you will too 'cause there will be other Moms there for you to talk too
