Hello! im 41 yrs old. & have 4 children: a 15 yr old , a 12 yr old, a 16 month old & a 3month old. all planned & the 1st 3 were vaginal & the last baby born on 1/1/12 was a classic c section due to vertical breech & cord wrapped around neck 3x's, i also have fibroids. My husband & i find ourselves possibly pregnant again maybe 2 weeks along. Totally unintentional. I am completly freaked out due to just having a cut 90 days ago & concerned w/ the fact of uterine rupture... any one w/ a similar situation?
I also have fibroids and had to have c-sections because of it. Try not to worry. I'm sure the doctor has dealt with this before. I'm sure when you meet with him/her they'll give you a "plan". I'm sure you are freaked out but I think that's pretty normal given your "shock". It'll be okay....

Take a deep breath! Then get tested. If it's positive take it EASY! Take care of yourself the newborn and the unborn, eat as healthy as you can and take your vitamins! Hubby and the older kids can do most of the toddler care, housework and cooking! In fact this would be a GREAT opportunity to catch up on teaching the older two any life skills they may be missing like cooking and laundry! Be sure and eat good, lots of protein, etc to promote healing. TAKE CARE!
I know my sister was pregnant three months after having my niece. She also had a c section although no fibroids. She did fine, the good thing in your case is that you have the older ones that can help you out, my sister didn't have anyone. You will be fine, but I know you feel overwhelmed!
Just take it easy, go to the gyn and get yourself checked out. Don't worry! you will get through this, just make sure that you are and talk to your doctor about your concerns. He will be the best person to guide you.
