My friend Loolie Houchins (HOW-CHINS), is wonderful. We are only 30min from the kingwood area. Here is my email address:
____@____.com email me and I will give you here info. She does so many crafty things, painting is only one of her many tallents. Hope you find what you're looking for.
I know a guy he lives in atascocita. give him a call and see what he can do for you. he also does everything you can think of. he remodled my house for me. bill galloway 1-###-###-####. home ###-###-####
I have a guy who is not in Humble but he will not charge you any kind of trip charge. He is a good guy and doesn't charge much. His name is Moses Tapia, he is hispanic but speaks english very well so no worries about miscommunication of prices. The last number I have is ###-###-####, if that doesnt work let me know I have his wife's cell also - she used to be our nanny before my kids went to school.
Also my step-son played tball and little league in Humble for years. I do not know hwo you call but the T-ball fields are off of Atascocita road, just east of Wilson. It is near the Sherriff's academy, and the name of the park is Lindsey Lyons. If you go by any day after work there will be people and someone can tell you who to call.
One room? Try painting it yourself. Go to the DIY website and they have all the instructions how to do it. They also have tips on different finishes and textures that are really easy to do.
OR - depending on where the room is and what you want done - ask your son to do it or maybe even tackle the job with him. It could be a great bonding experience and provide an opportunit for the 2 of you to communicate.
Either way - take the money you saved by doing the work yourself and treat yourself (and maybe your son) to a nice dinner to celebrate what a great job you did!
