Go get an eye exam... vision changes can cause persistent headaches, and it could be as simple as that!
So it seems that I have been having mild head pain everyday since September. I thought at first that it could be hormone withdrawl. I had the mirena IUD for 3 years, then came off of it and went on the Nuvaring. Well, last month I forgot to pick it up. That's also about the time my headaches started. I was also sick at the beginning of September with your average common cold. But I am still having headaches. They feel like tension headaches......above and around my eyebrows and occasionally on top of my head. I have super high anxiety so I am convinced that I have a tumor. I have also been under a lot of stress lately. Does anyone out there have any advice or gone through anything similar to this?

I would say sinus/allergy due to the season change but it also could be stress/tension headaches. Several years ago, I had daily headaches like you describe. I had them for months - not bad just annoying. Tylenol, etc. didn't really help. I assumed that they were sinus-related but that was ruled out by a CT scan of my sinuses. I was sent to a neurologist who decided to do an MRI of my brain just to be sure and everything came back negative so the diagnosis was tension headaches.
Try not to worry too much, if it isn't sinus, it is probably tension headaches. It is almost certainly not a tumor. Tension headaches can be really frustrating because there isn't much that can be done for them except reducing stress. My dr. told me that taking pain killers too much will actually start causing the headaches. I got mine to go away by reducing stress.
Probably all of the above are causing your headaches.
I rarely get headaches. When I do, I realize I haven't had a soda in a few days (trying to diet a little) and when I drink a soda, I feel better. So I get caffeine withdrawls. Perhaps the case with you too?
its prob horamones its amazing what they can do!!! I know you dont live near me but my doctor said the wether this year has been so bad for people with allergies and asthma shes seeing people she hasnt seen in YEARS me being one of them. talk to your doctor sounds like it could be sinus related since its near your eyes but deff could be stress
Since you are going through a lot of stress, any chance you are sleeping less? I have had headaches repeatedly for the past year and a half.. THey are from lack of sleep and the less sleep I get, the worse they are.
you dont have a tumor! i have them all the time and it sounds hormonal. give your body time to adjust. if its tension ones - take a cold coke can and hold it on your temple or at the base of your neck. go get a massage too to help with the stress.
you are living my life ive had the same headaches for a year and a half and still think its a tumor. My dr put me on klonopin for stress/anxiety but all it really does is help me be able to shut down at night to sleep. Other than that I still feel the same. I have the headaches behind my eyes and sometimes the back of my head im pretty sure they are tension headaches as well. I have started to think its hormonal as well, and dry eyes. I believe there is a list of stuff but the dr thinks its stress and doesnt meet the criteria for a tumor, thought that would ease my mind. Nope. They arent as frequent as they were but I still have them, mostly when i open my eyes in the morning.
This may sound off the wall, but I think your issue seems like seasonal allergies. My husband has had the same type of headaches for the past month. Try claritin/allivert or flonase (ask your doc).
Could you possibly have allergies you don't know about? I also wake up every morning with a headache and for me I feel it's the change of weather sleeping with the windows open. I also used to grind my teeth and woke up with a headache. I'm also thinking, not a tumor. Is the headache the same intensity all day? If it fluctuates it definitly could be hormonal, if there is something in your head the pain would be consistant and then grow stronger. If you are anxious about it you only have one choice and go see the doc. I'm sure you are fine. Take a deep breath and maybe a tylonol. :)
