Ok, I am sorry, I just can't help my self, my daughter is just having one of those days where she is just craking me up, and I just needed to share.
I gave her milk, plain milk and she bring me her chocolate syrup, so I put some and she told me: Great job mom.
Then she tried to tickle me, she didn't tickle me but just seeing her trying and the satisfaction on her face that she was tickling momy just made me real laugh, lol.
Then we were playing I see___, and the other would try to find it. So in her turn she told me: I see "the moon" and I look around to see if it was a book or something where she saw it but not, so I said to her There is not moon, but she kept saying it, and I kept looking but nothing so finally she told me: Yes, I see the moon, Hey diddle diddle.....the cow jump over the moon. LOL.
Ok it may not sound as funny when I write it down, but it did crack me up, lol.
Thanks for let me share.
Has you kid crack you up today?
PS: I am not sure if I am writing "cracking up" the right way, apologize if it is not, I mean to say laughing a lot.

What can I do next?

I have a 3 yr old girl and a 4 yr old boy. We were talking about what to have for lunch. I asked my girl if she thought she might want a Grilled cheese sandwhich. She got upset and asked what her brother was going to eat. Apparently boys don't eat ....Girl Cheese Sandwhiches. It's gotta be my Texas Twang that confused her.

I bought some of those frames that you have folks sign....do you know what I mean? At weddings.....anyway, I put a picture of each kid in one and every time they say something that cracks me up I write it on there. I remember my 6 year old was telling me that his yawn was broken. It was so funny. And just some of the silly words they can't pronounce. Like my suburban was a buzurban.

My two year old is the funniest person I have ever met! She constantly has me cracking up!

This was a few days ago, but one of my favorite things she has said. We were at my doctor for my 38 week check up. Our new daughter's name is Amy and my two year old loved to go to mommys doctor and hear "Amy's heartbeat" as the doctor left the room and I was getting my things together my two year old took my hand and said "I'm so proud of you mommy, good job with baby Amy"
I started tearing up right there in the office. It was the sweetest moment.

Another one of my favorites was a few months ago, my two year old woke up in quite a mood and was fussing and crying and just not herself. I handed her a glass of milk which she started sucking down quickly then stopped looked and me and said "sorry I cry, I'm a thirsty little penguin"

Kids are awesome!

Two days ago, my 7 y/o son bought his lunch at school (I usually pack his lunch, but sometimes I let him buy). When I picked him up after school that day, I asked him how his lunch was and what sides he got (they have a main entree and they get to choose 2 side dishes). I asked him if he chose fruit and/or vegetables and he told me he chose 2 fruits. I then asked him why he didn't choose a vegetable and he replied, "too dinnery!" It gave me a good laugh!

This happened awhile back, but I think it's so funny. I was doing an errand one day, and walking across the store parking lot to my car. I saw a man and his son pushing a cart to their car, and the son (a few years old) kept saying, "but dad, but dad, but...!" Eventually the dad turned to the son and said sternly, "HEY. Did you just call me a butt dad?!?" They both stared at each other and burst out laughing. I giggled all the way to my car.

My 6 year old is getting her sense of humor, we were discussing April fool's day, I saw where you can print a seed packet for donut seeds and put cheerios inside, it was a suggestion to give teachers for April Fool's day, her idea was to give the teacher an apple with a bite taken out of it-I thought it was very clever.
This is my girl who took her own temperature at age 3, when she looked at the thermometer she said, 'it says 101.1 KLRC" (which is the radio station we listen to) Love it!

Nicole R! LOVE the idea of the frame matting to write down all those silly things they say!

My 5 year old DD always says the funniest most random things and keeps us all laughing! Last Saturday morning we were talking about our plans/schedule for the day and as my hubby and I were "discussing" our options, my DD says to us "OK OK...I'm gonna make this real simple..." and proceeds to give us her opinion of what, when and how out day is going to go. It really wasn't as disrespectful as it sounds, she was just trying to be funny and lighten the discussion.

Then this morning when I dropped her off at school, she turns before shutting the cardoor and says (as smoothly as she can) "You (and points to her flu-ridden-double-ear-infected-croupy-cough-stricken baby sister) have a sadatay." Then closes the door and walks sassily into the school! And for those who are fortunate enough to not have had to sit through that movie "Pootie Tang", "sadatay" is like saying everying is cool or fine. That just cracked me up! And for the record, she has never actually seen the movie but my husband has and says it all the time to be funny. (eye roll).

My nephew can say helicopter.....but the first time he tried it he said hockiter. It was so funny because I had no clue what he was saying. Now when he says it correctly, my sister gets sad....no more baby words!

And then this last week, (he's 2 btw), he told his daycare lady that she was probably going to put him down for a nap. She was so blown away that the word probably came out of his mouth in a full sentence.

I think my most favorites though, are "Auntie, I'm going to your house, OKAY!" and Auntie, I just need to go poo poo in the big potty, OKAY!" and "I just tooted...I have stinky buns"

I don't know why, but hearing a two year old say those words tickles me to the core.
I say write them down like the previous momma, and never forget all the funny and precious little things they do. the sum of them is what you get years down the road. =) Something to look forward to. Yay! Thanks for sharing!

I missed one......When he puts on his bed time pull ups, he does a naked run through the house and jumps onto the carpet and says, Da Ta Dah! No one knows quite what to make of it!

My almost four year old now LIVES to wait for the end of TMZ and say "I'm a lawyer!"

He also asked me what my name was and I told him "C." and he said "NOOOOO that's dad's name!" I knew eventually this was going to be a problem. We're BOTH named 'Chris' and his middle name is Christopher so I see lots of explaining in my future.

Btw, our nieces LOVE to call him Uncle C. to see their mom cringe. (It freaks her out for some reason.)

I was playing with my DD while changing her diaper this morning, and told her "Stinky stinky poo! You have stinky stinky stinky poo!" She was laughing then just bursts out with "STINKY stinky stinky!" clear as day. :P She's only 11 months, so I thought it was pretty funny. :)

Ok, just last week our 3 year old son was helping me unload groceries from the bags. He took out the box of feminine pads and asked "what's this?" I just told him "those are mommies." He looked at the picture on the package, looked at me, looked at the package again and then with a shocked look on his face asked "Mommy?!? YOU wear diapers?" I couldn't help but laugh at him. :) Just typing this story makes me laugh!

My three year old say says to me last night..."Mom, you know ALLLLLL the girls like me!"...I said "I bet the do" and he again replies "WELL they do!"...

I write it all down in a journal so when they are older they can laugh like we do...and so that I don't forget.
