Totally worth the ticket price (took my daughter when she was 5). What ever you do, do NOT be late. The opening act is breath taking and comes down the aisles so they will make you wait outside.
That's pretty much it- have you taken your child to the Lion King, how old, and did they like it? Was it worth paying the admission charge for the kids? I am thinking about taking my son for his 6th birthday.
Thanks!
Thanks for the feedback! I think I will go for it! We took him to see Turbo last weekend and he had no problem sitting through that, so I have hope :) I have to admit, I love the theater and my husband isn't a huge fan, so I am absolutely grooming a future play/musical/opera date!!

6 is right on the border but I think he will love it. If he can sit still for 2 hours then go. It's amazing!
My 6yr old niece saw it (along with my kids 15, 12 and 10) last April. She loved it!
No, but my husband and I are going in October and my MIL and FIL are taking my oldest (4) and two of her cousins (5 and 6.5) this fall also.
I'm more concerned about the cousins than my girl. When she was 3, I took her to a stage production of Cinderella and she was great.
Our whole family has seen it. The youngest was almost 6 at the time and loved it as did the rest of the family. Go and have a great time!
My husband took my daughter when she was about five. She was afraid of the hyena's to the point they had to leave.
It is wonderful. Get a seat on the main floor near the aisle for the best location for the beginning.
I took my oldest son when he was 4 or 5 and he enjoyed it. My youngest, even at 5, would never be able to sit through it. Depends on your kid, but it is a wonderful performance!!
My oldest daughter was 9 and loved it. We have been taking my youngest to broadway shows since she was 3 although she has not seen lion king yet. I certainly think it is worth it but you know your child best. Definitely bring a few lollipops if you are in doubt.
My sons saw it at ages 2 and 5, and were mesmerized. My 2 year old did get a little squirmy, but he loved the monkeys, and got settled right back in once he understood we're not waiting for the movie to start, these costumed people are putting on the show. My oldest still talks about it on occasion, nearly 2 years later. :)
