HAPPY SPRING!! Almost....

I love everything that you and the other say, and how much faster and easier is to get out of the house, and how more neat is the house without all the winter jackets, hats, gloves, etc.
How my car stay cleaner without all of the mud from the snow mix with dirt.
Than I can run outside if I forgot something without freezing, all the pretty girl clothes. That the kids are more active, that the kids are more active and go sleep more easy,lol.
What I don't like: that I can't hide my love handle under all that clothes or blame it on the layering of shirts.lol

love the "new life" on trees & plants, the days are longer, warmer, bbq's, sitting outside, "discovering" new parks to explore.. summer is next... its great, this is my favorite time of year! Im so excited to have a little one to enjoy it with again, she will be walking soon & we have many outings for her in mind :)

I love, love, love hearing the birds chirping when I'm getting dressed in the mornings during spring. That and the way everything smells new & clean!

Crawfish boils and basketball! Crawdaddys and March Madness go hand in hand for me.
I like Spring cleaning too. I love the spruce up phase I go through. I want everything to be light and airy and clean and colorful. I start to rearange furniture and artwork.
Planting flowers
I love garage sales and spring is the best time to go pickin.
I like to take country drives and see the wildflowers coming up - Bluebonnets, Indain paint brushes, Butter Cups - glorious!
It's the best time of year to take the kids to the park and to go camping and to amusement parks.

As much as I love my flower gardens and taking long evening walks...Every spring, I do not look forward to all the new renters and their baybay kids running amuck in our hoods, or playing B-ball until 4 am (when I have to get up and go to work at 5), trying to break out my house windows, spray painting my privacy fences (or setting them on fire) ruining my flowers and grass, and looking at you stupid when you yell at them-Oh joys of spring, can’t wait until summer when school is out...

my bulbs in the yard start to bloom everything turns to color Spring is like when the color kicks on in the Wizard of Oz. My favorite part the warmer days and warm evenings the boys start counting the days until we open the pool.

I love the warm. I absolutely despise cold weather. Bring out the sun.

I *love* sleeping with the windows open!! Sounds odd maybe, but that is my most favorite part of spring!! :)

I also love not having to bundle my toddler up to run errands, only to have to reassemble her at EVERY stop because she has taken off her hat, gloves, socks and shoes right when I put her in the car.

The new "life" that appears :-) the sun stays out longer~being outside ! There's just a feeling of 'breathing easier' than in the dreary winter months !!

Spring??? It's starting to feel more like summer here. :( Our forecast has it getting in the mid to upper 80's here for the next week. Not too bad if you live in a dry climate but when it gets above 72-73 degrees here it's too warm and humid to open up the house. Oh well, opening up the house this time of year just makes me sneeze and makes my eyes burn from all of the pollen anyway. We already have mosquitos and house flies too.

My favorite part of spring is seeing all of the flowers blooming and the new, light green leaves on the trees.

My favorite time of year is fall.

I love the cool breezes and the lazy afternoons. Being outside but worse part is all the blooming and sneezing. Horrible allergies I can't stop sneezing today.

First off I am sad.....I LOVE winter!
Spring doesn't really last long in southern California, so I am DREADING summer. If I could hibernate for summer, I totally would.
I do enjoy spring though I wish it would last longer.
Favorite things about Spring...
Easter....I love coloring eggs and putting together easter baskets
The fresh smells
The weather is still nice and cool

The leaves coming out on the trees. My favorite poem is by Robert Frost--"Nothing Gold Can Stay"

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her first leaf's a flower,
But only so an hour
Then leaf subsides to leaf,

If that doesn't say spring. . . I look for the first leaves on the trees and celebrate "Green is Gold" day by playing Dvorak's Slovanik Dances (I could also play Stravinisky's "Rite of Spring.")

I like being able to wear dresses to work. I like hearing the birds, even the house wren that wakes me up at 5:00 am. I really love when my Japanese snowbell blooms (the most beautiful tree, ever!). I like opening my windows, and the days lasting longer. I like Easter better than Christmas. . .better flowers and less work
