Hey gals,
I just wanted to know if anyone has gone to the mall on halloween for trick or treating instead of around the neighborhood.
We might do both but I wanted to know what others thought about going to the mall.
let me know if you liked it or didn't.
thanks!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks ladies... I just called Clackamas Town Center and they said they will expect 4,000 people! crazy!
Anyway it is between 4 & 6pm.
So, we're gonna get their early.
My daughter loves to hand out candy at our door so this will work out perfectly, the mall early, a few houses on our street and then we're out of the rain and cold! :)

Thank you again!!

I don't know where you live, but if you are in Portland or Vancouver area, we have gone to Jantzen Beach and the stores are prepared to give out candy. Lots of costumes that are fun to see and watch the kids. Lately I've gone to our church Harvest Days. It's at Crossroads Community Church on 78th Street in Vancouver. They have lots of games, bull ride, blow ups, hay maize... all indoors, so not too cold.

There are lots of places... there's another we enjoyed, but can't think of name of it right now. I'm sure they are listed in paper.

Have a great time.

I have taken my two children (4 & 2) to themall for the past two years, and I feel that is a great experince. They do not have to endure the cold, and quite frankly i feel it to be safer call me paranoid, but I do not feel it safe (at lest in my neighborhood) to be outside and I do not trust the candy that they receive.

All in all I liked the mall experience. It is easier on the little ones.

Dear S. M
With little ones that age its a lot better then tiring them out going door to door its funnier for them, and done in the light as not to scare them and many people go it can get crowed so go early. You walk around to all most every store and are handed candy from a worker there, Some malls have many other activities going on also, so like I said get there early because they do not worry for it to be dark out, most malls are done by 9-9;30 IN THE EVENING.

We have gone to the mall especially when it rains. One piece of advice if you decide to go to the mall is that you should give the mall a call or check their website. Sometimes they start at around 3 pm and by 4 they are out of candy. We went at around 5 one year and all of the stores were out.
