I am making a litter box cake for a party I am going to this weekend. It's so delicious, but usually only the kids (mainly boys) will even touch it. It looks awful. You can google "litter box cake" if you aren't sure what I'm talking about.
Ok Mamas, I do a Halloween pumpkin carving party every year with my family and nieces and nephews but this year decided I want to do a Halloween themed dinner as well. I'm trying to find some "gross looking" halloween dinner ideas. If you have any ideas, please share! Thanks!

Mummy hotdogs - hot dogs wrapped in thin strips of crescent dough (can probably find info on Pillsbury website)
Dirt - with halloweeen gummies sticking out of it
Fruit punch with gummy eyeballs in it
The website may be useful to you http://www.cdkitchen.com/recipes/cat/132/1.shtml
Have fun!
Family Fun has lots of themed foods as well as crafts........my "go to" Halloween food is finger cookies. Literally, cookies shaped as fingers. I make them every year for the school party. They are on the allrecipes.com website, as well as www.pillsbury.com (which also has the mummy hot dogs). Another site that has many choices, is www.britta.com (she does Halloween themed foods, with the recipes and other crafty ideas).
Good luck and have fun!!!!!

Its the meatloaf hand...hahaha!
allrecipes.com has a whole page of halloween food. creepy cupcakes and eye ball soup lol i was on it yesterday :)
You can serve pumpkin soup out of small pumpkins.
You could do a graveyard cake - make the cake in a rectangle pan, ice and spread crushed oreos over icing. Stick gummy worms coming out of it and put wafers in for gravestones. Use icing to write funny RIP statements and funny names.
Rachel Ray did a show on this. She did eyeballs and brains - spaghetti noodles and meatballs with sliced black olives. There were others. I'm sure if you search her shows on foodnetwork.
I've also seen some cute stuff on Allrecipes.com
Last year I made foods I saw on Paula Deen, and they were a hit. There's a goblin cheese ball and snake bread. Just google her name and Halloween.
