I live in westchase and I am looking for someone to color my hair. It's dark brown and I want blonde highlights. I need someone who knows what they're doing. A lot of my friends get their hair colored and most times it turns our orange or brassy. Can anyone recommend a great salon that's not rediculously expensive?

I go to Lia at The Gallery Hair Salon near Countryside Mall. She is fabulous and only charges me $60 for my highlights and $25 for a haircut. I would highly recommend her! Here is her number ###-###-####.

Hi B., I know a very good guy/great colorist who is actually giving specials to his new customers. You will be happy with his work, he is a true talent. If possible, try to look into magazines for models with your skin complection and eye color for hair color ideas and tear out pages you like. Bring it with your for the appt. It's always easier to express the color idea. A good colorist will always give you a great suggestion based on his experience. Here is the contact info. I go to Salon Bella Flora in Palm Harbor, My stylist name is Nicole and she is awesome! I usually have 1 base color and 1 low light and 1 highlight done and it cost around $160.
On a side note I do hair on the side, not licensed but have colored hair for a couple of my co-workers, and you know as well as I do you dont mess up someone's hair especially if you work with them. I did go to school to do hair.

I do not know where Westchase is, but if you are close to Seminole my friend owns a salon call Magnifique Salon & Boutique on Seminole Blvd. Kathy is awesome! She goes to NYC to see what's going on in the industry all the time.
In fact I wanted my haircut and color to look like Diane Keaton's look (in Mad Money, her new movie) and she did it EXACTLY the way it was to look.

This may be far for you, but I go to Salon CR on Tampa Road in Palm Harbor. I have Jim do my blonde highlights and he does a great job. They usually charge me under $100 (this is w/o a haircut).

I agree with one of the post about Salon CR, they are good, but I now go to Sara at Toes Up Salon, she is better! I used to see Lara at Salon CR but she is not there so I switched. Toes Up Day Spa is on Alt 19 in Palm Harbor ###-###-#### ask for Sara.
