Oh my god my daughter does the same thing. Yes, we laughed at first but we try not to now. She is 9 months old and I am petrified that when she gets baptized this weekend she will do it up there!!! : )
My daughter had severe acid reflux and spent a long time on zantac and throwing up everyday. I think she has outgrown it for the most part and I took her off the zantac a while ago but I notice she either growls or starts clearing her throat. Part of me thinks the growling leads to the throat clearing and now that she has that down she does not growl as much. Most likely because she still gets a little acid reflux here and there.
I do notice the more sounds she makes and now she is crawling and standing she does not do it as much. Most people I asked said they are just learning to use their voice! I wouldn't be to worried as you can see you are ot the only one.
One story I thought you would get a kick out of is..I was selling my kitchen table and when the woman was picking it up Madeline was sitting in her high chair cute as could be and playing with her toys. The woman commented a million times on how good and happy she was and don't you know after 10 minutes the women had her back to her talking to me and you would have thought the girl from the excorcist sat down in the high chair!! I just said don't mind my demon daughter!! What can you do they are just learning!!
