Good morning MAMAS!!! my four year old has been grinding his teeth while asleep for the past two nights!!!, im not sure what to do !!!
any suggestions?

you can get a tooth guard. i grind my teeth and my daughter does too. just go get a guard from walmart or your local store. but not a big deal

I asked my dentist too - apparently most kids do this then outgrow it. Don't be concerned unless it lasts and lasts. Ask you dentist too.

I think it's very common (and creepy sounding!) for children to grind their teeth. Our dentist wasn't too concerned.

My Dentist told me that baby teeth are sometimes not smooth on top so they don't have a bite that comes together evenly like an adults. ( like if you had a popcorn kernal stuck ) so they grind them at night, and that takes the uneven edges off. Apparently, unless they have pain, its okay.
