I have 2 questions about Great wolf Lodge in grapevine tx
1. Do you guys have any coupons for Great wolf lodge. There's going to be 2 adults and 4 kids going and we are going next week.
2. When we buy the room is there anything except the waterpark that is free
Thanks everyone but I decided we are not going its just way too expensive

Call them directly and ask for any discounts.... Can't hurt to ask!
We've never been guests but we've been with cheer camp and with friends. The friends stayed a week and the only freebie was the water park. Food is pricey.
This friend is smart!!! He has a large family. He's a businessman, he was able to write a lot off on expenses because he is a business owner from another area on the state. Top that off with suppliers/contacts/ networking people meeting there and he wrote most of his off legally.
Just ask for the best deal!
I live pretty close and did some research and then called. I was very unimpressed with everything. I have 3 kids. the youngest which was 2 at the time. I was trying to book a room for 4 people and I asked if I could just buy an extra pass for the water part and I was told no that I had to upgrade my room to the room for 6 people , which was several hundred more. I was not happy, she was 2 and slept with us. So I just went elsewhere. This last summer my mom took my girls and weve since been for a birthday party. Both times that I went in I recieved very rude customer service. The birthday party, I needed my child early as she had to leave for cheer camp. They would not let me in to find my child. Finally the parent showed up and went to walk in and I guess her armband was messed up, they would not let her in to get my child either. They made her go back to the front desk to get a new armband. It took her 30 min of waiting in line. I tried telling them several times that I was in a hurry.
I will never go there again. My mom said Hurrican Harbor is just as much fun and was less money.
This is a fun place to go but very expensive. The only free thing is the water park which is included with thte cost of the room. Everything else has a price tag. There are quite a few restaurants in the surrounding area, so I would have your fun at the hotel and go out to eat.
Here are the free things that we did. They have a kids storytime every night. They have costumed characters come out and it makes for a great photo opp. at the end. There is free walking tour and they point out different things hidden through the lodge and the kids have fun finding the hidden things. The kids club has free things throughout the day. You can take the kids when they are tired of swimming and they have things for the kids to play with in there.
During the storytime, we saw some kids wearing cute little headband that was wolf ears. We asked the parents where they got them and they said the lodge restaurant. My husband went to ask the restaurant how much for the ears and the employee just gave them to my husband - one for my daughter and one for her friend who was rooming with us. I am sure the employee was not supposed to give them to us for free but she did. We were happy!
when i looked on their website they had some specials...
the third night free promotion is not a good deal because most people can't last 3 nights. seriously, the chlorine can get bad, but it is better in summer with the people going in and out.
nothing is included. you have to pay for magic quest, tatoos, build-a-bear, the arcade, all food and drinks, photos...
I've only been to the GWL in Williamsburg, but I imagine they're all the same. Each room has a mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker. To make it a little less expensive I would recommend bringing food. The one restaurant in the lodge is EXTREMELY expensive. I brought breakfast stuff and snacks. I even boiled some noodles for my kids at home, put them in a tupperware, and reheated them in the microwave for dinner when we got there! Have fun :)
Definitely bring in food and drinks for the room. The food is expensive and not great. They will not let you take food or drinks into the water park though.
