you don't have to be a member of the hotel over here in Washington. We went about 4 months ago, made the reservation online, and just paid for one night. Be aware....we spent about $500 for the two days and one night. The room alone was $350! It is quite expensive but my children LOVED it and still talk about it all the time.

Wish I knew how Riley only paid $119!!! Sheesh, we must've been ripped off!

In WA you used to be able to just use the waterpark, but it was almost as expensive as staying the night. Now, however, you do have to book a room. You don't necessarily have to USE the room, but we do, even though it's fairly easy driving distance. It's a fun mini-cation. Especially with MagiQuest and running around the hotel in jammies waving your wand at things until 10pm :)

By using deals... we've never paid more than 119 for a stay.

No. You have to be a hotel guest. The water park is only for park guests and you have to have a wristband to go.

I know for the one in Dallas, you have to be staying at least one night at the hotel in order to get in the water park. You can get a wristband a few hours earlier than checkin time, and can stay the rest of the day after you check out. You can be in the lobby or restaurants without staying at the hotel.

We were just at the Dallas location yesterday for lunch only with friends who were staying there for the week.

As for the water park, it is hotel guests only. Looks great for young children. Our friends' children were having a wonderful time. It is pricey though, they had a suite and I undertstand they were paying upwards of $500 a night.

At the Great Wolf in Wisconsin Dells, you have to be a guest. But, it's totally worth the stay overnight. You won't be disappointed.

I haven't been for a couple of years, but we had a bachelorette party there and the girls who wanted to stay the night paid for the room, but the girls who just wanted to come swim paid for $15 passes. Maybe it's different now?

D., if you staying at the hotel is out of your budget you might look into Coco Key West over by the stadiums. I believe you can buy a day pass to use the water park and I know they have deals to stay at the hotel. I think the hotel now is a Holiday Inn. Might look into that option as well.
