Good Place for Maternity Bras?

I am 5 months pregnant, and growing rapidly! Need to find a store that can help fit me into something with enough support (and ideally not look like my grandmother's underwear). I've tried the bra extenders and buying larger sizes of regular bras, but it's just not working. Any recommendations for helpful shops?

What can I do next?

I don't know where you are located, but the Lady Grace stores are excellent at fitting for bras. Whether you're pregnant or not. I think there is one store located at the South Shore Plaza in Braintree. There used to be one at the Hanover Mall but I don't know if it is still there. Their website is www.ladygrace.com

Good Luck!

I'm a month behind you and already in the same spot! I agree, try Lady Grace. I bought my bras there during my first pregnancy and they're really helpful and patient, but unfortunately, yeah, maternity/nursing bras do pretty much look like your grandmother's underwear. I did get a postcard from Lady Grace recently saying that they'd changed locations and are NOT in the South Shore Plaza/Braintree mall anymore. Sorry I don't remember the new location but I think they have a website.

Decent Exposures is a great women-owned company that makes amazingly comfortable bras and sends them to women all over the country. They are on-line at www.decentexposures.com and I started using them after I had my daughter and found I had gone up a size and was uncomfortable in regular bras. They custom-make their bras to fit and you can send thiings back for them to fix. They are super nice and personable, and also make nursing bras and baby things.

I don't know where you live, but there is a Lady Grace in Waltham on Pleasant St. and one in Brookline on Beacon St. I bought some bras at Kohl's b/c they were inexpensive. They stink. My grandmother got me one from Lady Grace and it's the best! When you walk in you will definitely feel like you might be buying your grandmother's underwear, but don't worry, you'll get something nice. I also got fitted for my wedding dress strapless bra there and it was excellent.
